With the holidays just around the corner, Port Elizabeth is gearing up for a super summer season. According to Nelson Mandela Bay tourism’s website, the city is ready to welcome visitors with a bumper summer season.
This year’s festivities will be kicked off with the city’s traditional “opening of the season” on 16 December at Hobie Beach. Activities will run from then until the end of January.
The programme includes the Springs Fiesta in Uitenhage, the Sizzling Session at the Tramways Building and the Cinema and Christmas Carols at Happy Valley and The Sundowner at Hobie Beach.
There is also the Ebubeleni Music Festival and New Year’s celebrations at both Hobie Beach and Wells Estate.
Umoya Cottages is just about fully booked for this season with only a handful of dates still available. We look forward to welcoming all our guests and hope you will enjoy all the Summer fun in the Bay.
