If you’re visiting Port Elizabeth, you’ll probably be looking for an eat-out spot at some point during your stay. Personally, when we are uncertain of what we want, then we love to head out to Stanley Street in Richmond Hill. It is a delightful street filled with with various wonderful restaurants and bars. Stroll around and see which Restaurant’s menu jumps out at you.
There are brilliant restaurants all over Port Elizabeth, offering a gourmet of options. Here are some suggestions on our favourite restaurants in Port Elizabeth to assist in your search for that hit-the-spot meal:

|Pizza, burgers, grills. Also doubles up as local watering hole.|
|Great for the kids with a selection of meals like pizzas and burgers.|
|Portuguese style cafe. Choose between chicken, ribs or prawn (that’s all yes) and bring your own drinks!|
|Basic food but you can try some craft beer if that’s your thing.|
Close to Umoya
Stanley Street is about 5km away and offers an array of fantastic restaurants. Take a right in Cape Road and continue down Cape Road untill you reach Irvine Street. Left into Irvine until you reach Stanley.
For take-aways you’ll find a couple of options close to Umoya. Steers and Debonnairs in Cape Road next to the SPAR.
KFC and Nandos as well as local diner Grillers are all under a km away, also in Cape Road towards William Moffett.

If you want to wander into the mall, try the food court at Greenacres Shopping Centre in Cape Road. Walmer Park Shopping Centre is 5km way down William Moffett and Bay West Mall is 10km away along the N2.
